Ok, so I know that i am a little early to start this but i couldn't wait any longer. The thing is, is that this morning i saw Adriennes post and now i have a few questions...lol. This will teach me for getting ahead of myself.
1. With circular needles are you supposed to knit all the way round so its one continuous piece or do you knit it from one end to the other so it is more like a straight line than a circle - my beginnerness is so totally showing - lol.
2. Stitch markers - Do you move them along as you knit more rows as i haven't been. I just have one at the very first row on my knitting.
Oh dear - i feel Frogging coming on already.

Do you know how to connect after you cast on so that you are knitting in the round? and when you place the stitch marker you put it on the cable then just slip it to the other side when you come to it. I hope I explained that correctly. I didn't understand stitch markers either lol, my lys had to show me lol.
Hello, I had to cast on last night too, because if I didn't I was going to start another project but then I wouldn't have had the needles for this! Anyway, to join and work in the round, you hold the needle with the working yarn in your right hand (after you've cast on all your stitches), other needle in left hand and just start knitting the first stitch you CO. Before you do that, you place your stitch marker and then just move it from needle to needle as you come to it. Hope I explained it. If you need to see it, you can go to knittinghelp.com and watch the great videos there on all kinds of techniques. Good Luck!
Thanks ladies - I will frog it all and go and have a look at Knitting help. At least i found out know rather than later...lol
